The Seed and the Story

The Seed and the Story radio program focuses on folklife, diversity, and oral history in central Arkansas and beyond. We believe that stories of human life can help us understand more about the deep connection we have both with each other and the places we call home.

At the core of this program we ask these questions: What are the commonalities between human/cultural expression and human rights? How can these stories help us learn more about who we are, and why we are? What can we learn about each other and ourselves when we share and hear these stories?

Featuring interviews and dialog with Arkansans, we explore the cultures of our daily lives as we all strive toward beauty in its many and varied forms, engage in cross cultural dialogue, and work to collectively envision and bring about a more just world.
